13. What are the signs of a spiritual attack, so I can unmask the enemy?

Why does the devil wear a mask? To hide his identity, so he can work out his schemes undercover. A mask is part of his subtlety. He knows if we recognized him working, we would use our authority in Jesus to chase him out. As long as the evil one goes undetected, he continues to carry out his tactics in our lives.
The Holy Spirit reveals Satan working in our lives by waving red flags in front of our spiritual eyes. Red flags get our attention when we are driving on the highway and come to a construction zone. As we spot these flags we slow down and our alertness goes up a notch. There are red flags in the spiritual realm also. When you spot one, you can be sure that you have just uncovered the working of the enemy.
Here are the red flags to look for when uncovering a demonic attack. Knowing the enemy’s tactics helps us recognize attacks more quickly. Use the following as a guide. If you see all ten of these, you have uncovered a major attack.
· One heavy circumstance after another.
· Accusations.
· Ongoing thoughts of what we don’t have, rather than our blessings.
· Continual temptations at the same point of weakness.
· Fear based on lies. Expose the lie.
· Doubts about the truthfulness and goodness of God.
· General sense of heaviness and depression.
· Deception.
· Division in relationships.
___________________________________

                   “Satan will not outsmart us.
For we are very familiar with his evil schemes.”
2 Corinthians 2:11

Warfare Prayer

This prayer is taken from Mark Bubeck’s book The Adversary and was written by Dr Victor Matthews and lightly edited by Neil Anderson. It is heavy and the language and concepts may be triggering

Heavenly Father, I bow in worship and praise before You. I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as my protection during this time of prayer. I surrender myself completely and unreservedly in every area of my life to Yourself. I do take a stand against all the workings of Satan that would hinder me in this time of prayer, and I address myself only to the true and living God and refuse any involvement of Satan in my prayer.

Satan, I command you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to leave my presence with all your demons, and I bring the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ between us.

Heavenly Father, I worship You and I give You praise. I recognise that You are worthy to receive all glory and honour and praise. I renew my allegiance to You and pray that the blessed Holy Spirit would enable me during this time of prayer. I am thankful, Heavenly Father, that You have loved me from past eternity, that You sent the Lord Jesus Christ into this world to die as my subsitute that I would be redeemed. I am thankful that the Lord Jesus Christ came as my representative, and that through Him You have completely forgiven me; You have given me eternal life; You have given me the perfect righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ so I am now justified. I am thankful that in Him You have made me complete, and that You have offered Yourself to me to be my strength.

Heavenly Father, come and open my eyes so that I might see how great You are and how complete Your provision is for this new day. I do, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, take my place with Christ in the heavenlies with all principalities and powers (powers of darkness and wicked spirits) under my feet. I am thankful that the victory the Lord Jesus Christ won for me on the cross and in His resurrection has been given to me and that I am seated with the Lord Jesus Christ; therefore, I declare that all principalities and powers and all wicked spirits are subject to me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I am thankful for the armour You have provided, and I put on the girdle of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the sandals of peace and the helmet of salvation. I lift up the shield of faith against all the fiery darts of the enemy, and take in my hand the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, and use Your Word against all the forces of evil in my life; and I put on this armour and live and pray in complete dependence upon You, blessed Holy Spirit.

I am grateful, Heavenly Father, that the Lord Jesus Christ spoiled all principalities and powers and made a show of them openly and triumphed over them in Himself. I claim all that victory for my life today. I reject out of my life all the insinuations, the accusations, and the temptations of Satan. I affirm that the Word of God is true, and I choose to live today in the light of God’s Work. I choose, heavenly Father, tho live in obedience to You and in fellowship with Yourself. Open my eyes and show me the areas of my life that would not please You. Work in my life that there be no ground to give Satan a foothold against me. She me any areas of weakness. Show me any area of my life that I must deal with so that I would please You. I do in every way today stand for You and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life.

By faith and in dependence upon You, I put off the old self and stand in all the victory of the crucifixion where the Lord Jesus Christ provided cleansing from the old nature. I put on the new self and stand in all the victory of the resurrection and the provision He has made for me to live above sin. Therefore, in this day, I put off the old nature with its selfishness, and I put on the new nature with its love. I put of the old nature with its fear and I put on the new nature with its courage. I put off the old nature with its weakness and I put on the new nature with its strength. I put off today the old nature with all its deceitful lusts and I put on the new nature with all its righteousness and purity.

I do in every way today stand into the victory of the ascension and the glorification of the Son of God where all principalities and powers were made subject to Him, and I claim my place in Christ victorious with Him over all the enemies of my soul. Blessed Holy Spirit, I pray that You would fill me. Come into my life, break down every idol and cast out every foe.

I am thankful, Heavenly Father, for the expression of Your will for my daily life as You have shown me in Your Word. I therefore claim all the will of God for today. I am thankful that You have blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I am thankful that You have begotten me unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. I am thankful that You have made a provision so that today I can live filled with the Spirit of God with love and joy and self-control in my life. And I recognise that this is Your will for me, and I therefore reject and resist all the endeavours of Satan and of his demons to rob me of the will of God. I hold up the shield of faith against all the accusations and against all the insinuations that Satan would put in my mind.

I do, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, completely surrender myself to You, Heavenly Father, as a living sacrifice. I choose not to be conformed to this world. I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, and I pray that You would show me Your will and enable me to walk in all the fullness of the will of God today.

I am thankful, Heavenly Father, that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses, for destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and to bring every thought into obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore in my own life today I tear down the strongholds of Satan, and I smash the plans of Satan that have been formed against me. I tear down the strongholds of Satan against my mind and I choose to think my thoughts after You, blessed Holy Spirit. I affirm, heavenly Father, that You have not given me the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. I break and smash the stronghold of Satan formed against my emotions today, and I given my emotions to You. I smash the stronghold of Satan formed against my body today, and I give my body to You, recognising that I am Your temple; and I rejoice in Your mercy and Your goodness.

Heavenly Father, I pray that You would renew me with your life; show me the way that Satan is hindering and tempting and lying and counterfeiting and distorting the truth in my life. Enable me to be the kind of person that would please You. Enable me to be aggressive in prayer. Enable me to be aggressive mentally and to think Your thoughts after You, and to give You Your rightful place in my life.

Again, I now cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and pray that You, blessed Holy Spirit, would bring all the work of the crucifixion, all the work of the resurrection, all the work of the glorification and all the work of Pentecost into my life today. I yield my life to You. I refuse to be discouraged. You are the God of all hope. You have proven Your power by resurrecting Jesus Christ from the dead and I claim in every way Your victory over all satanic forces active in my life and I reject these forces; and I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, with thanksgiving. Amen.

Partnering with God
in the
Struggle
over Sin
by Sandra Higley
I praise Your name, El Roi, the God who sees me. You know every struggle, every fall-and You understand because You experienced every temptation I face. Nothing can separate me from Your love. (Gen. 16:13; Heb. 4:15; Ro. 8:39)
I choose to flee from the temptations the enemy is throwing at me right now. I turn and walk the other way. I choose to submit to You, Lord. I resist this onslaught of the evil one. Enemy, you have to run! (2 Tim. 2:22; Jas. 4:7)
I covenant with my eyes to look away the minute something tempting or potentially tempting comes into view. I renounce the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. (Job 31:1; 1 Jn. 2:16)
Father, I’ve been battling this head-on for so long that I’m afraid the enemy may sneak up from behind-I’m so glad You watch my back. My healing will come quickly. (Is. 58:8)
I’m feeling weak, Lord. Praise You that You show Yourself strong in the middle of our weakness. (Dt. 3:24; 2 Cor. 12:9)
Father, I unleash the power alive within me against the enemy who is prowling around looking for a way to eat me alive. It is the same power that raised Christ’s dead, decaying flesh and transformed it into a glorious resurrected body. Enemy, you are defeated! (Eph. 1:19-20; 1 Pet. 5:8; Heb. 2:14)
Send Your angels to minister to me right now, Father. I need help! (Heb. 1:14)
I know this is a battle of the mind. I resist every wrong thought as if I were in a mental tennis match. I refuse to be outwitted by a fallen, created being. I take every thought captive in Jesus’ name. I know I’m fighting the kingdom of darkness, not flesh and blood. (2 Cor. 2:11; Ezk. 28:13-17; 2 Cor. 10:5; Eph. 6:12)
You promised to provide a way of escape from every temptation-help me see it now! Open my spiritual eyes so I don’t miss it. (1 Cor 10:13; Eph. 1:18)
Satan plants a thought and then accuses me for having the thought. But I won’t stand for it! I claim my inheritance as one who belongs to the Lord: No weapon the enemy uses against me will work. I refute his accusations. (Gen. 3:1-5; Zech. 3:1-2; Is. 54:17)
Lord, teach me to stand firm when I’ve stood every way I know how-and then help me to keep on standing. (Eph. 6:13)
I recognize that Satan, the accuser of the brethren, is trying to shame me into keeping my struggle a secret-hidden in darkness. I come into Your glorious light, Lord, willingly bringing every deed and every thought. The truth will set me free. (Rev. 12:10; Jn. 3:19, 12:35; Eph. 5:8-14; Jn. 8:32)
Thank You, Jesus, that You did not come to condemn me but to set me free. I know my freedom is even more important to You than it is to me. (Jn. 3:17; Gal 5:1)
I confess the sin of __________ and receive Your forgiveness. I refuse to cover up my iniquity; I won’t give Satan a foothold of any kind by harboring sin. (1 Jn. 1:9; Ps. 32:5; Eph. 4:26-27)
Lord, You have provided everything I need to live a godly and holy life. Through Your strength, all things are possible. (2 Pet. 1:3; Phil 4:13)
Abba, You say the enemy is a liar and will do everything he can to make me distrust You. But Your Word is truth, and as I renew my mind with it today, I am conformed to the image of Your dear Son. (2 Cor. 11:3; Jn. 17:17; Ro. 8:29, 12:2 )
I have Jesus’ power to overcome the enemy-I trample him under my feet. (Lk. 10:19)
I come against the enemy with the blood of the Lamb, my testimony, and a surrendered life. I am more than a conqueror in Jesus. (Rev. 12:11; Ro. 8:37)
Father, give me a passion for Your Son. As I grow to love Him more and more, I’ll keep His commandments out of sheer desire to please Him. (Jn. 14:15)
I speak to the mountain of (name the persistent sin) in my life: I command you to throw yourself into the sea. (Mk. 11:23)
Hallelujah-You set me free from sin and made me a slave to righteousness! Thank You, Jesus, for defeating sin, death, and hell. In You, I am victorious! (Ro. 6:18; 1 Cor. 15:57)
I wield every spiritual weapon You’ve given me to tear down this stronghold of thoughts. I put on my helmet of deliverance-I have the mind of Christ. I take up my shield of faith-You made it specifically to quench fiery darts of the wicked one. (2 Cor. 10:3-5; Eph. 6:17; 1 Cor. 2:16; Eph. 6:16)
Lord, You are able to keep me from falling today and will present me without fault before Your throne. Praise be to You both now and forever! (Jude 24-25)

loosely, honoring You by using them for Your eternal purposes
(1 Tim. 4:4, 6:17; 1 Cor. 7:30-31).
God’s generosity. Thank You, Father, for the indescribable
gift of Your Son! Thank You that Your divine power has given us
everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge
of Him (2 Cor. 9:15; 2 Pet. 1:3).
Gratitude. Lord, as I come to know You and Your ways, I am
continually grateful for all things and for every circumstance-
even the diffi culties You allow for my growth. I will give You
thanks every day. Today I’m grateful for _____(Eph. 5:20;
1 Thess. 5:18; Job 1:21).
Contentment and trust. Father, forgive me for worrying
that I might not have enough to live on. I see evidence of Your
faithfulness all around me. I choose now to stop worrying and
instead to ask You for _____ (tell Him what you need). Thank
You for always providing exactly what I need (Mt. 6:25-31;
Prov. 30:8-9; Phil. 4:6,19).
Lordship. I resolve never to trust in wealth or to let it master me.
You are my only Master (Ps. 49:12,16-17; Prov. 11:28; Mt. 6:24).
Sound Living
Eternal priorities. Lord, I choose not to set my heart on the
world and its passing desires, especially _____ (list the worldly
things that lure you). I will love You above all by seeking fi rst Your
kingdom and Your righteousness (1 Jn. 2:15-17; Mt. 6:33).
Stewardship. I relinquish my owner mentality, that I might
faithfully manage what You have entrusted to me, remembering
always that I am accountable to You for its use (Mt. 25:14-30;
1 Cor. 4:2).
Work ethic. Lord, I commit now to work with all my heart, not
to win the favor of men, but with sincerity of heart and reverence
for You. It is You that I am serving (Col. 3:22-24).
Provision for family. I will not neglect my family. As I work faithfully,
grant me the means to supply what they need (1 Tim. 5:8).
Borrowing. Lord, thank You for providing through Your Spirit
the fruit of self-control. I choose to delay buying what I don’t
need until You supply the money. I commit to freeing myself
from all outstanding debts except the continuing debt of love
(Gal. 5:22-23; Prov. 22:7; Ro. 13:8).

Honesty. Lord, I refuse to pursue any form of dishonest gain,
because ill-gotten treasures are ultimately of no value. I especially
need help with _____ (tell Him about any current temptations).
(Ex. 20:15; Prov. 10:2; Ro. 13:6-7).
Patience. I need wisdom, God, to resist the lure of get-rich-quick
schemes, which lead to poverty. Provide me with restraint to gather
the money I need little by little (Prov. 13:11, 23:4, 28:19-20).
Sound Giving
Giving joyfully. Father, I choose to give cheerfully and
willingly, just as You have given so cheerfully and willingly to me
(2 Cor. 9:7; Eph. 5:1-2).
Giving fi rstfruits. Lord, I will honor You by giving the fi rst and
best of all my income, not my leftovers (Prov. 3:9; Mal. 1:6-8, 3:10;
1 Cor. 16:2).
Giving sacrifi cially. In light of Your love, it’s a privilege to give
even out of poverty. I choose to trust You enough to give even
beyond my apparent ability (Mk. 12:41-44; 2 Cor. 8:1-4).
Supporting ministry. You have instructed us to support those
in ministry. May my gifts enable them to serve You more fully as
they advance Your kingdom locally and abroad (1 Cor. 9:11-14).
Helping the needy. Lord, with the compassion You have put in
me, I will give generously, without a grudging heart, to those in
need-whether in my community or around the world. When I
give to the poor, I’m ministering to You. Whom do You want me
to help today (Jas. 2:15-16; Dt. 15:10; Prov. 19:17; Mt. 25:40)?
Giving for God’s glory. Father, You are the One who makes
me rich in every way so that I can always be generous. I want my
generosity to result in thanksgiving and glory to You, not to me
(2 Cor. 9:11; Mt. 6:1).
Sound Investing
Spending. Because everything I have is Yours, I will seek Your
glory in every fi nancial decision. Specifi cally, _____ (consult Him
about the decisions you’re making now) (1 Chron. 29:11; Prov.
3:6; 1 Cor. 10:31).
Saving. Just as the ant prepares for the future, I will put aside
money for future expenditures that will honor You, including
_____ (list the things you need to save for) (Prov. 6:6-8).
Financial investment. My Master, are there areas in which You
want me to take obedient risks with the wealth You have entrusted
to me, in order to bring a return that will serve You and Your
kingdom (Mt. 25:24-27)?
Treasure in heaven. I gladly store up for myself treasures in
heaven, where nothing can destroy them or take them away. I
choose to shift the focus of my heart from earthly possessions
toward heaven, where my home and my lasting treasure are-with
You (Mt. 6:19-21; Heb. 11:16).
Investing in people. Lord, how can I most effectively invest
my worldly wealth in people, so that when it is gone and this life
is over, they might join me in heaven (Lk. 16:9)?

Encourage our pastoral staff when ministry gets tough. Help them remain faithful with the things You’ve entrusted to them (2 Cor. 4:1; 1 Cor. 4:1-3). Teach us to respect and honor our elders/deacons. May they give wholehearted attention to prayer and ministry. Keep them devoted to their families and above reproach. May they be gentle, honest, and wise as they carry out their responsibilities (Acts 6:4; 1 Tim. 3:1-2, 5:17; Titus 1:7). Appoint worship leaders who stand in awe before the splen dor of Your holiness. Use their praise to defeat the enemy. May they be true worshipers who worship in spirit and in truth. Let them glory only in You, Jesus (2 Chron. 20:21-22; Jn. 4:23-24; Phil. 3:3). May every speaker/teacher correctly handle Your word of truth, admonishing and teaching wisely. Let them speak with faith that springs from relationship with You (2 Tim. 2:15; Col. 1:28; 2 Cor. 4:13). Let our youth workers set examples in speech, life, love, faith, and purity. Cause them to be strong, alive-in-the Word overcomers. Give them discernment to deal with troubled youth as they teach them Your life-giving principles (1 Tim. 4:12; 1 Jn. 2:14; Prov. 7:7,2). Thank You for every behind-the-scenes worker who is de voted to service. Bless them for their obedience and generos ity-may You receive praise as a result! Reward them for serv ing You humbly and wholeheartedly rather than seeking to be noticed by others (1 Cor. 16:15-16; 2 Cor. 9:12-13; Eph. 6:7). Increase our number through new converts. Let the gospel be presented to the lost among us with power, the Holy Spirit, and deep conviction, not only through the words of the sermon, but also through our lives. Teach us to make the most of every opportunity as we spread everywhere the fragrance of Christ (Acts 2:47; 1 Thess. 1:5; Col. 4:5; 2 Cor. 2:15). May the hurting come to know You as El Roi, the God who sees them. Bind up the brokenhearted. Set the captives free. Replace mourning with Your oil of gladness. Comfort them so they will have a ministry of comfort to others (Gen. 16:13; Is. 61:1-3; 2 Cor. 1:3-4).

This next set of prayers covers more general aspects of church ministry. As you pray through each one, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to any specific areas He would have you pray about for your own church. Take time to listen to what He may have to say, and then intercede for those specific needs.
Holy Spirit, lead us to level ground. Show us ways we grieve, quench, or resist You. We live by You; help us keep in step with You. Reign in us so we experience Your freedom (Ps. 143:10; Eph. 4:30; 1 Thess. 5:19; Acts 7:51; Gal. 5:25; 2 Cor. 3:17).
We eagerly desire the spiritual gifts You’ve given for our common good. Help us understand the various gifts and how they work. May we use what we’ve received to serve others, administering grace in love and with renewed passion (1 Cor. 12:4-7, 14:1; 1 Pet. 4:10; 2 Tim. 1:6).
We desire to be pure and obedient so our love for each other will be sincere and from the heart. Give us a spirit of unity so we glorify You with one heart and voice. Help us accept one another in love (1 Pet. 1:22; Ro. 15:5-7; Col. 3:14).
May we sow generously into our church without reluctance or compulsion. Make grace abound so we have the finances we need to do every good work You’ve assigned us. Make us rich in ways that result in generosity so You will be praised (2 Cor. 9:6-11).
Remind us that sharing with others is a pleasing sacrifice to You. Keep us outwardly focused so we don’t become self-absorbed. Enable us to extend mercy to people in every kind of need (Heb. 13:16; Phil. 2:4; Jude 22-23).
Help us as we struggle with sin. Keep us from the enemy’s condemnation. Thank You for doing away with sin on the cross so we are no longer slaves to it. Help us throw off everything that entangles and persevere in the race (Ro. 6:6, 8:1; Heb. 12:1).
Protect and deliver us from the evil one. May we be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves as we deal with him. Show us how to test every spirit. Help us recognize the enemy’s schemes so he won’t outwit us (Mt. 6:13, 10:16; 1 Jn. 4:1; 2 Cor. 2:11).
Make us a house of prayer! We want to pray first, always, and continually with thanks. May each of us recognize that this is Your desire for all, not just a few. Transform us into righteous men and women whose prayers are powerful and effective (Mk. 11:17; 1 Thess. 5:17-18; Ps. 32:6; Jas. 5:16).
Revive us so we burn hot for You. Give us singleness of heart and action that we may always fear You and follow Your precepts. Open our minds to Your Word and set our hearts ablaze within us (Rev. 3:14-16; Jer. 32:39; Ps. 111:10; Lk. 24:32,45).

Whether you live long and strong or short and weak is up to you. N So decide to take hold of life! Begin meditating on God’s Word and daily confessing:
I take hold of the Word of God-the Word of life. Circumstances are temporal and subject to change (2 Corinthians 4:18). But the Word is the eternal truth (John 17:17).
Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings, and the years of your life shall be many. Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; guard her, for she is your life (Proverbs 4:10, 13, The Amplified Bible).
God said I have a choice. I choose life and blessing!
I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live (Deuteronomy 30:19).
I choose to follow God and His Word, His life-giving wisdom.
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. Length of days is in her right hand. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her (Proverbs 3:13, 16, 18).
Holy Spirit, open my eyes to God’s promises of life, healing and health. I choose to walk in love, forgiveness and obedience to God’s Word so I can live long and strong. Show me what to do, both in the natural and spiritual realms.
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22).
Keeping God’s Word gives me a long life worth living.
My son, forget not my law or teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; for length of days and years of a life [worth living], these shall they add to you (Proverbs 3:1-2, The Amplified Bible).
I guard my heart and believe what the Bible says about me.
Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life (Proverbs 4:23, The Amplified Bible).
He satisfies me with long life and shows me His salvation (Psalm 91:16).
God has offered me 120 years, and I receive it. I’m taking hold of life! (Genesis 6:3).

As you begin to claim your mind back from the enemy, he will not want to give up the place that he has had. You will have to do battle with his lies and confusion. Your first step is to declare out loud that you will not allow any outside force to do your thinking-no man and no spirit. There are spiritual laws that demons must obey. They cannot stay where a man wills them not to stay. Your power is in the Name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, and the Word of God. Ask God to give you discernment of the lies of the devil. Think about what you are thinking about. As you recognize a lie to your mind, always defend yourself out loud. That means speaking to Satan and the evil forces out loud, binding them in the Name of Jesus, and forbidding them to lie to you and to use your mind. When you catch a lie to your mind, use this prescription regularly-and you will regain peace, your memory, restful nights, and the ability to concentrate and comprehend. You are in a battle-you are not alone-for all of God’s people fight this same fight (Ephesians 6:12). Make up your mind not to give up! According to Colossians 3:2, set your mind on things above and keep it set! As you begin this battle, it will seem worse than ever. The reason is that the demonic powers are fighting to keep their place in your mind (and in your thinking). Call upon God’s grace in the Name of Jesus, and He will give you the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome every evil tendency fully. Remember, regaining your mind is a process. We all fail at one time or another. God knows our weakness; that is why He gave us I John 1:9. Just ask for forgiveness and see the Blood of Jesus washing away your sin. Don’t give up! Continue claiming what belongs to you (your mind and your thinking belong to you), and Jesus will help you overcome. II Timothy 1:7 says, “For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind!”

GOD’S PRESCRIPTION FOR A SOUND MIND!!

When You Hear A Lie Going Through Your Mind, Say Out Loud:
II Corinthians 10:5 “Satan, you are a liar. I will not receive (or believe) your lie in the Name of Jesus.”
I John 4:4 “I remind you that it is written, ‘He that is within me is greater than he that is in the world.’ I command you to bow your knee to the Name of Jesus and leave me.” (Now you have pulled the lie out-just as you pull a weed out of the ground. An empty hole remains where the weed was, and you will need to fill the space you cast the lie out of with Scripture.)
Philippians 4:8 Begin to think on the Word or begin to sing a praise song to God. Make a conscious effort to fill your mind with good, pure, wholesome, and lovely thoughts.
